SURREY, BC — Dr. John Rogers, a Surrey general dentist who focuses on family and children’s dentistry, has launched a new website that connects patients with dental treatments that can improve their oral and overall health.
Dr. Rogers’ new website, www.surreywhiterockdentist.com, was designed by Dr. Rogers and can be accessed from any web browser or mobile device.
“For us, a great-looking and functional website allows us to reach out to patients who can benefit from our dental services,” said Dr. Rogers, who operates White Rock Dental Group. “The website is designed in a way that visitors get to meet us and get comfortable with our office before walking in the doors.”
Dr. Rogers’ new website includes information about his many practice services; informational videos from Dr. Rogers; and convenient online appointment forms. Site visitors can also expect to see blogs written by Dr. Rogers about his services, latest dental news and great oral health tips.
White Rock Dental Group serves as a location for patients of all ages. The dental team offers services in children’s dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry and periodontal treatment. Dr. Rogers holds training in the Chao Pinhole Surgical Technique — a noninvasive technique used to treat gum recession — and is a certified Invisalign provider.
Dr. Rogers has even written an e-book about Invisalign. The book is available for free download on the White Rock Dental Group website and includes information about how Invisalign can give many patients straight teeth without metal brackets or wires.

Dr. Rogers, originally from St. Catharines, Ontario, found his path into dentistry at the early age of 23. He received his dental degree from the University of Toronto. After graduating from dental school, Dr. Rogers moved to the country’s west coast for his year-long General Practice Residency at Vancouver General Hospital and the British Columbia Cancer Agency. His general residency allowed him to train in the skills of general dentistry, emergency dentistry, oral pathology and oral surgery.
Dr. Rogers spent his first years as a dentist working at an office in Burnaby, but his more than three decades of experience have allowed him to travel across the country and even abroad. In 1991, Dr. Rogers refocused his career when he moved to Papua New Guinea to work as Chief Dental Officer of the Morobe Province. As chief dental officer, Dr. Rogers treated patients in the province’s biggest hospital and supervised dental clinics in the province. Dr. Rogers returned to Canada in 1992 to work at a dental practice in Victoria, BC. In 2005, he came to White Rock Dental Group.
Dr. Rogers serves on the board of directors of the Vancouver and District Dental Society, and was the board’s president from 2014-15. The Vancouver and District Dental Society is British Columbia’s largest and oldest dental society.
